What is the best way to haul a bike or motorcycle?
If you are new to transporting motorcycles or electric bikes, or just looking for better ways to do it, tips, tricks, etc., you have come to the right place.
Straps of course are the oldest and most used method to get your bike from one location to another in a truck or trailer. All of us old timers have used straps and tried about every conceivable arrange the to make the bike(s) secure. It sucks to get everything loaded and get a few miles down the road, only to see a strap flailing in the wind or worse yet, dames loose.
After doing this for more years than I care to remember, we came up with a simple to use tie down that uses a motorcycles foot pegs to secure the bike. Not only is it simple and fast, it helps ease the stress on your high dollar suspension. I know, many riders say there is no stress on the forks – that is what they are designed to do. That is not true. Forks are not designed to be compressed and stay that way for long periods of time. Inevitably, whenever we would leave the track after a long day or weekend of riding, the forks would spring a leak usually caused by the dirt that has built up near the seals under the seal covers. You can use a seal cleaner to keep this from happening but you need to do that before you keep them compressed for a long time.
Moto Cinch motorcycle foot peg tie down system
Moto Cinch has several professional riders that use our patented technology. Most of them will still put their bike on a stand then cinch them down so there is zero stress on the forks. Personally, i have never gone to that much trouble but I ain’t a pro either….
